INRA01 - Small Business Setup for an unemployed person

Project by Suresh Agrawal

Let me introduce myself. I am Suresh a 27 year old young man from Karlu in Rajasthan India. I am a Science Graduate and have been looking for work for the past 3 years. I have now moved to Mumbai the Financial Capital with a hope of finding work there. Unfortunately, it has been just not possible to get any work there. I have done some research and find that there is a very good business opportunity to serve tea and coffee to tourists who come to Chowpatty Beach in Mumbai. Currently the same is being sold for INR 10.00 a cup (about 16 US cents). For this, I need an investment of INR 12,500 (about US dollars 205.00). This will allow me to earn about INR 100 per day in the peak tourist season and about INR 50 in the off peak tourist period. I am very much interested to start off but do not have the funds for the same. I would be highly obliged if I can receive a donation of INR 12,500 which is about USD 205.00 which is about Ð 1,423,000 (as on 27th Jan 2015)

I can confirm that I have studied the Business Plan submited by Suresh Agrawal and the project does have a resonable good probability of success. The capital investment for a cycle, food licience, equipment and initial raw materials is about INR 12,000. I understand that the additional INR 500 is for the purchase of tea powder, spices, instant coffee powder and powdered milk which is a resonable sum. The unit cost of each cup is about INR 6.00 with a profit margin of INR 4.00 per cup. No provisions have been made for any taxes as it is expected that the business will be below the tax threshold.
.I have also checked the credentials of Suresh including his PAN Number and Adhar Card details and can confirm that he is currently in need of this capital injection which will allow him to start off to have a basic income for himself. This income will not be adequate for him to support any family. I wish him the best of Luck
